About Joshua
Joshua is Rosette's little brother and one of the 7 apostles. When they were kids Joshua and Rosette lived together in an orphanage (The 7th Bell), His biggest dream was to travel around the world along with his sister, he was very kind, noble and a dreamer boy but also was a very weak child and he was constantly sick and obviously he hated that, he didn't wanted to be protected all the time by Rosette and wanted to become stronger, that's the reason why he accepted the horns that Aion offered to him.
When he put Chrno's horns on his head the power of the horns made him unestable and loose his sanity, that's why and he frequently confuses reality and dreams.
Joshua was taken by Aion and Rosette makes the contract with Chrno so both can search for Joshua and live together again.
